About Garbs

Garbs is a primarily self-taught musician, who has been making music since 2020. Starting on drums and piano, he moved to bass guitar and then to electric and acoustic guitar. In college, he studied classical piano and composition.

In July of 2020, he and a couple friends began the band Car, in which, Garbs was the drummer and secondary vocalist for the group.

The band unofficially disbanded in 2025.

In late 2020 Garbs began his solo career, releasing songs and collections throughout the following years. His first official album, On the Edge of Everything, was released on November 17, 2023, which 

was proceeded by the groovy single, Sirens.

2024 and 2025 saw the release of multiple singles. The acoustic Long Haul, one of his favorites, is his most well-received and most performed song to date. Along with these new songs, Garbs began to expand his live presence, performing all throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.

2026 finds Garbs creating his second full-length album, proceeded by the single Old Apple Orchards which released on June 17.
